Helmet Search

So I got a (fairly minor, but still) concussion through my Sweet helmet a few weeks ago. Was upside down in a fast rapid (angioplasty at almost 4k) and hit one of those boulders near the bottom straight to the crown while I was setting up to roll. Looking to replace it because that's what you do when you smash a helmet that hard.

The problem is, It appears that most kayaking helmets don't have any soft foam padding or suspension to cushion a blow, besides the shell and hard foam to keep your skull intact. While I truly appreciate an intact skull, I'm hoping to find a helmet that will also disperse a bit more of the impact force before your brain sloshes, whether via softer foam like ensolite or a suspension like military helmets. Any ideas? Or any thoughts or perspectives I'm missing?

Yep, we should start making helmets.

I remember you doing that. Ouch.

Not entirely opposed to the idea. I know a lot about foam if someone else knows anything about how to make the shells . . .
